Weekend again, so time for the third show! Well, okay, I actually recorded it a few days ago, but nevertheless, here it is. Enjoy. Oh yeah, as a teaser for future features -- I have a line on doing a (phone, presumably) interview with, well, let's leave it a surprise, but once I get the tech sorted out, I hope to do it and release it as a special off-schedule show. Here's hoping!

V for Vendetta
by Alan Moore and David Lloyd with additional art by Tony Weare
In my mind, best political/social comic ever
begun in B&W in the UK comic Warrior in the early 1980s; colored and finished in 1988 for DC following success of Moore's Watchmen
more relevant than ever -- ESPECIALLY in America now
not only a look at fascism, but a look at anarchy from both positive and negative viewpoints
soon to be a film starring Hugo Weaving and Natalie Portman
I've watched the first trailer and I feel ambivalent so far -- this is a work about thought more than spectacle
Regardless... read the graphic novel!
